Teresa Giudice Reveals Life In Prison For 15 Months; How Did She Cope?

Teresa Giudice was released in prison just two days before Christmas. A lot of speculations cropped up on whether the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" will be back in front of the cameras soon or if she would opt to take some time off to spend more time with her family. But one thing's for sure. She got busy while in prison and wrote a memoir which will be released early next year.

According to TMZ, the reality star may soon be seen in front of the cameras sooner than expected. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey Checks In" 3-part series was a hit and that show didn't even have Teresa Giudice onscreen. It might be possible that she will be present by the time the reality show will air again the next year.

So far, the newly released star shared her plans to stay with her family, husband Joe and her four aughters, as she gets back to her day-to-day routine.

After spending more than a year inside the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, she said "she is thrilled that she is finally going home," one insider told People.

She was freed at 5:01AM after her mandatory release paperwork and procedures were finished. "She couldn't wait to get home to Joe and the girls from the minute she set foot in prison. She is so happy and grateful that she is able to be home with them, for Christmas, no less," the insider said.

While locked up, she was able to find her calling as a writer. She was able to write a memoir, "Turning the Tables" which will be released in February 9, 2016, People said.

Her lawyer stated during his interview in Good Morning America that she was mentally and emotionally prepared when she was brought to prison. Joe, on the other hand, was in a somber mood. "The enormity of this entire situation hit him." He also said that her last words before she left the house were, "Tell Joe and the girls I'm good."

Her stay in prison was not as horrifying as some may thing, Teresa Giudice said that everyone were nice to her including the staff and her co-inmates.
