Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie News: Couple Go on a Romatic Getaway in Vietman

Power couple and parents to 6 children Brad Pitt, 51, and Angelina Jolie, 40, hopped to Vietnam right before the holidays.

 A few days before Christmas, People reports that the duo has been spotted in Vietnam. It seems that the two have taken the time off from their hectic schedules as they strolled in the South East Asian country for three days.

Part of their itinerary is the top tourist destination Halong Bay located in the north of Vietnam. It is a place where tourists and local alike can ride a boat and along the bay that is filled with limestone rock formations rising out of the water, People continues.

They also went kayaking and explored some caves. An observer told the magazine, "They looked happy. They were holding hands, laughing." 

They stayed in the Metropole, a luxurious French-built hotel from the Colonial era, located in Hanoi. Before they left the country, they also visited B52 wreckage and the Old Quarter.

People adds that the last visit marked the 4th one done by the couple. They first visited in 2006 then returned the year after when they adopted their son, Pax. They returned again in 2011.

The entire family is currently in Colombia as Jolie Pitt is currently filming "First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia," a movie based on the memoir by writer and human rights activist Loung Ung revolving the brutal Khmer Rouge regime of the 1970s. 

In related news, UK Mirror reports that Jolie Pitt revealed her new tattoo during the Cambodia Film Festival in Phnom Penh. It is believed to be a symbol that protects from evil and is called Yantra tattooing, also called sak yant or sak yan-a form of tattooing that can be traced from ancient Southeast Asia.

Their first son Maddox was adopted from Cambodia and Jolie Pitt's tattoos include the coordinates where her each of her children was born.
