Nowadays, choosing the right bathroom toiletries for a hotel room is as equally important as choosing the right beddings for your guests. This has been the most popular marketing strategy among hotel companies to attract more travelers.

There is tough competition among hotel companies nowadays and reports reveal that it all boils down to the type of designer toiletries featured in the hotel rooms. USA Today revealed that a lot of travelers are paying big attention to bathroom amenities available in hotels nowadays. The type of shampoo and soap available in hotel rooms may make or break a booking deal from a client.

According to Jeff David, managing director of the Knickerbocker, hoteliers are not just providing the essential bathroom toiletries to customers anymore. Facial foams, makeup remover wipes and branded items are also adding up to the list of necessities that should be present inside hotel bathrooms.

Hotel booking website Oyster enumerates some of the hotels around the US with the most luxurious hotel toiletries available for clients. Maison 140 Beverly Hills features full-sized bath products from brands like Neil George. The hotel even has a salon that caters to the needs of celebrities like Mary-Kate Olsen, Renee Zellweger, Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz. The Franklin NYC, on the other hand, features full-sized Bulgari toiletries inside their bathrooms.

The hotel industry is definitely exploring all the marketing strategies and improvements that will help in landing booking deals. With Airbnb and HomeAways penetrating the hospitality and accommodation industry, hoteliers are gearing toward a more luxurious and stylish experience for their clients, hoping to get a bigger bite of the hotel and accommodation market.
