Selena Gomez was devastated when Justin Bieber and Kourtney Kardashian made the headlines. The "What Do You Mean Singer" and the reality star are allegedly hooking up but a recent revelation says that their so-called relationship is nothing but a media rouse.
According to In Touch, Gomez reportedly called Kardashian and flipped out. Then she sent Bieber a slew of angry text messages.
A source said, "Selena was texting Justin and expressed how used she felt, since they'd just hooked up around the time of the American Music Awards. But his response was, 'You know how this business works' meaning he did it for the publicity."
It is understandable why Gomez was greatly affected by Bieber and Kardashian's hookup. Last November 20, Bieber claimed that he wanted her back when he sang "My Girl" to her in the lobby of the Montage Hotel. With Bieber getting involved recently with Kardashian, it seemed like Gomez was just played.
The source also related, "Selena thinks it's bizzarely incestuous and doesn't understand why Kourtney would go there after her sisters. Selena's telling people it's sick for Justin to be hooking up with so many people in the same family."
Selena, however, is not alone in thinking this. Even the Kardashian clan thinks that it is gross too. "They think it's crazy that she hooked up with their ex. Kendall was just hooking up with him earlier this year, she feels betrayed," the source claimed.
It is unclear whether Gomez still has feelings for Bieber. When the news broke, Hollywood Life reported that she confronted Bieber and asked him point blank if it was true. An insider told the magazine that Bieber did not deny it at all.
"He was kind of flattered that she asked because in his mind that means Selena still cares. But Selena doesn't see it that way at all. She's 100 percent into Niall Horan," the insider said.
