Donald Trump To Sue Steve Harvey For The Miss Universe 2015 Hosting Mishap?

American Comedian and Radio Personality Steve Harvey's hosting mishap has become the newest talk of the universe and even tagged in social media as the "epic fail" and "universal blooper." Harvey mistakenly announced Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, the Miss Universe 2015 but apologized minutes later while Miss Colombia has started waving her hands before the crowd while wearing the crown.

Amid the loud cheers from the live audience at the venue, Harvey seems to have humbled himself as he acknowledged and admitted that he failed to announce the right winner of the beauty pageant. After apologizing before everyone on stage, he readily called Miss Philippines, Pia Alonza Wurtzbach, as the real winner of Miss Universe 2015. He even wanted to show the audience the card he's holding to prove that Miss Philippines, indeed, is the winner.

The Internet has generated different reactions, if not neutral or indifferent, mocking or violent, from the viewers and random netizens across different countries around the universe. But, what the former co-owner of the Miss Universe Organization, Donald Trump has to say of this hottest controversy?

Hollywood Life reported that Trump wants to end all the brouhaha on this issue. He believes that Gutierrez and Wurtzbach can be crowned as the co-winners of the recent pageant. "I'll tell you what I think I'd do. I think I'd make 'em a co-winner, I would recommend that they go have a beautiful ceremony, which is good for the brand and good for Miss Universe, and do a co-winner," shared Trump on The Today Show.

Despite Trump's expression of disappointment on his Twitter account, he still did not blame host Harvey for such mistake. "It was a terrible error. Things happen. It's live television," he told NBC.

The Miss Universe Organization, where Donald Trump was once part of, before he sold it six months ago to WME/IMG talent agency, also apologized to Miss Philippines and Miss Colombia for the mishap. "The excitement of live TV was evident tonight on The Miss Universe stage with over 10 million live fan votes tabulated. Unfortunately, a live telecast means that human error can come into play. We witnessed that tonight when the wrong winner was initially announced," said pageant officials.

Said negligence is the latest misfortune in Miss Universe 2015 that may have hurt or annoyed some. However, such honest mistake may not be a weighty ground for filing of a case against the host of the show. Still, the universe is hoping to have an even more meticulous announcement of the rightful winner come Miss Universe 2016.
