Becky G has split up with Austin Mahone, but it doesn't mean that she won't talk about her famous ex anymore. In an interview, Beck G opened up on how happy she was during the time she's with Austin.
Becky G discussed with Seventeen Magazine her prom night and talked about her much-publicized breakup with Austin, 19. On the cover prom issue of the magazine, Becky G looks stunning in her prom dress. In the cover story, she then elaborated how she and her ex ended things in August. The two never really talked about their split until now.
"It was really hard because we were very open about how happy we were," Becky G started on how they relationship went. "It was only fair for me to set the story straight after we broke up. I was with someone who was really amazing and inspiring, and everything was right about us except the timing. We had so many dreams and aspirations before we started dating and you can't forget those. Honestly, it sucked really bad, but he's so awesome and there's no bad blood."
Meanwhile, J-14 reports that Becky G has just released three new tracks titled, "The Light," "Good At It," and "Stutter" as gifts for her fans for the holidays. One of the songs, "The Lights," created a buzz and left fans wondering if the "Shower" singer had written it with Austin on her mind. Becky G's new music was released after Austin's new album, "This Is Not the Album," came out.
"Music is how I express myself. I wrote this song because I had bottled up things I was feeling and didn't know what else to do other than put it into my work in the studio that day. Writing this helped me a lot. It's not a hype song but it's a song that means a lot to me," Becky G said.
