Chris Kirkpatrick, the former counter-tenor of NSYNC, may not be as popular as his former band mate Justin Timberlake, but that doesn't mean he isn't enjoying a nice life. The boy band member is selling his gorgeous home in Orlando for $2.3 million.
Since the band's break-up in 2005, Kirkpatrick has found work as a voice actor for "The Fairly OddParents" and as a reality star in CMT's "Gone Country" (he lost the role to Sebastian Bach of Skid Row).
According to Realtor, his huge 6,313-square-foot home offers fascinating views of Big Sand Lake, and you can get the chance to "see the splendor of Disney fireworks from so many places within the home," says Julie Bettosini, listing agent of Stockworth Realty Group.
The lower level portion of his home can be a perfect entertainment venue, complete with a game room, bar, and patio that opens onto an infinity pool. The home has a stunning theater that features a ruched fabric ceiling and décor that yearns "I Dream of Jeannie."
The parents of Christopher Alan Kirkpatrick split up when he was young. But he was able to continue his education with a focus on the performing arts at Rollins College and Valencia College in Florida. From there, he found his way as part of a doo-wop group singing and onto the stage at Universal Studios.
After an unsuccessful audition for the Backstreet Boys, Kirkpatrick decided to form his own ensemble with the encouragement of Lou Pearlman, who orchestrated the formation of the Backstreet Boys, as reported by Biography.
As he started to form a new group, he extended an offer to Joey Fatone, a fellow Universal Studios performer, as well as to Justin Timberlake, whom he'd met on the audition circuit. Timberlake was already connected with JC Chasez from the Mickey Mouse Club and so he invited him to join the band too. Lance Bass, who was recommended by the vocal coach of Timberlake, was the one who joined last.
