Cameron Diaz Nabs Buyer for Downtown NYC Condo

After only about 47 days on the market, actress Cameron Diaz has put her downtown NYC condo at 59 W. 12th St. into contract, according to the Observer. Her next move is the 3,022-square-foot, three-bedroom pad at Chelsea's glitzy Walker Tower that she bought in 2013 for $9.52 million, records show.

Diaz purchased her 59 W. 12th St. condo for $2.95 million in 2008. The final price of this condo is not yet available but she is sure to make a tidy profit from the deal as it was listed early last month for $4.25 million, according to StreetEasy.

The condo pad is outfitted by star designer Kelly Wearstler. Amenities of the home include emerald-green kitchen cabinets; brass kitchen counters, backsplash and sink fixtures; antique gold glass in the dining room; ivory silk shades and hand-stenciled ceilings in the living room.

According to NY Post, the gorgeous look of the condo extends into the master bedroom, which is decorated with ivory and black accents, and custom closets with mirrored glass and antique gold.

All rooms are beautifully equipped with electronic blackout shades, and its original oak floors were stained with ebony and cerused.

The listing agent of the property is Rebecca Edwardson of Warburg Realty.

Actress Cameron Diaz has put her elegant New York City pad up for sale with a price tag of $4.25 million, as revealed in real estate gossips at The Wall Street Journal.

The two-bedroom and two-bathroom condo measures approximately 1,400 square feet.

The condo is beautifully located on a lower floor of a distinguished, pre-war building designed by architect Emory Roth in the heart of Greenwich Village's historic Gold Coast. It was exuberantly designed as a jaw-dropping work by much-published designer Kelly Wearstler before it was featured in the October 2013 issue of Elle Décor, as reported by Variety.

All together, the condo of Miz Diaz provides New York City digs with much more Hollywood flavor and photogenically fascinating Big Apple glamour.
