A "Where's Waldo-themed illustration has been gaining fame on social media platforms especially Facebook.
In celebrating the festive season of giving, snow and non-working holidays, Hungarian artist Gergely Dudas created an illustration that asks the viewers to locate the panda among the crowd of snowmen.
The Hungarian artist had 13,000 followers before he released the picture puzzle in his Facebook account. He posted the picture with the caption, "There's a panda amongst them! Can you find it?"
Within a few days, the viral illustration reached thousands of Facebook users. It was likes more than 92,000 times and shared more tha 166,000 times.
The panda blended well with the snowmen since they were ornamented with black dots resembling coals, orange carrot noses and red scarfs. Like other viral content found in the internet, online citizens once again placed their own flare of humor on by making witty comments captioning the shared post.
Facebook user Gary Pearsall commented: "There ain't no panda in there," among other witty comments about the illustration.
Even with the frustrations that the hiding panda has induced to facebook users, it surely brings more light in today's holiday seasons in its own simple way.
Gergely Dudas regularly posts illustrated, visual cartoon-puzzles that earned him almost 57,000 followers on Facebook. Click here to visit his Facebook page. Dudas have been doing this regularly for quite a while already. He says in response to the viral fame of his illustration and says, "The popularity of the 'panda' picture amazed me, I still can't believe it, but it makes me really happy! Glad to see how people like something I made."
Surely, Dudas' visual hit will drive more traffic to his Facebook page and even earn him a few clients to work with. The "Where is Waldo" spin-off surely gave his work a good year starter for 2016.
