Pricing on the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder SUV has been announced by Nissan in the US with a starting price of $29,780.
All of the variants of the Pathfinder are powered by the same fuel-efficient 260-horsepower V6, mated to an advanced Xtronic transmission with D-Step shift logic.
The price isn't the only thing that is changed for the Pathfinder, as the model also comes with more enhancements for 2016, which include a revised Almond interior with contrasting black and beige materials, with heated cloth on the front seats, heated steering wheel and heated outside the review mirrors (which are available for the Pathfinder SV grade), while the variants of SL and Platinum features an addition of heated steering wheel.
According to Car Scoops, the 2016 Pathfinder offers five option packages that include the new SV Cold Weather Package, SL Tech Package, SL Premium Package, Family Entertainment Package and Trailer Tow Package.
The Trailer Tow Package gives the Pathfinder the capability of towing 5,000 pounds (2268 kg), while the Family Entertainment Package offers dual headrest 7.0-inch DVD family entertainment system.
Other variants of the model can be commissioned with a wide array of optional extras, including Blind Spot Warning, a 13-speaker Bose Premium Audio system, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Nissan Navigation system and an 8.0-inch touch-screen monitor that is mounted in the middle of the instrument panel.
The Pathfinder has changed to a more sensible family midsize SUV which offers space for up to seven passengers with the comfort and quietness needed for them to travel happily.
The exterior of the Pathfinder will remain mostly the same on its front end and with just a slight difference in the back side. A new set of taillights will also be installed with a different pattern thanks to a LED system, as reported by New Release Date.
