Kate Middleton and Prince William, together with children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, released a Christmas family portrait that has taken the internet by storm not just because of their perfect looks but because of the allege photoshopping of the image.
Royal watchers noticed that Princess Charlotte was wearing a “recycled” ensemble since it "goes a little blurry around the edges of her head and near her shoulder and arm," Cosmopolitan wrote.
A follower posted on Twitter saying, “Ok beautiful but serious question did they photoshop Charlotte’s smiling face onto her body bc I’m thinking yes.”
Many followers also observed that the head of Princess Charlotte is clearly defined in the picture while the area around her head was a bit fuzzy.
“Something is wrong with this (photoshopped) picture of the royal family via @davidmackau,” another tweet said from Elliot Wagland – Group Picture Editor for Huffington Post UK and AOL, who tried to weigh in on the photoshop debate.
With that, the photo was dissected, enlarged and analyzed by Buzzfeed wherein many comments either support the allegations that it is indeed photshopped while others disagree saying that it is just a normal picture of the child.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said that the Royal Family has no comment on the photo but the spokesperson laughed at the question since Kate Middleton will not demand photo changes for the official Cambridge Christmas, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
Other observers and followers said that there was indeed a little editing done on the image. It could be that the hair of the Duchess of Cambridge covered a portion of the baby's face which was edited in the photo. Or Princess Charlotte might be a bit fussy that day and wasn't smiling during the photoshoot. Babies will also tend to move a lot during photo sessions like this which could need a little creative editing to make the photo work.
