DC's "Legends Of Tomorrow" will welcome a new star to play as love interest for White Canary. Entertainment Weekly exclusively learned that Ali Liebert will guest star on The CW's show as Lindsay Carlisle who is a well-mannered and intelligent woman that will play as potential love partner for Sara Lance played by Caity Lotz.
Lindsay is said to be the "ideal picture of 1950s womanhood," however, she carries on a deep secret and that is, she is a lesbian. She will feel confused and alone but then, things will eventually change as soon as she will meet Sara. And according to TV Line, Lindsay will awaken something in Sara that has been sleeping for a very long time.
Phil Klemmer, the show's executive producer shared that "At the start of this episode, we find Sara Lance completely out of place, both in time and place, visiting 1958 'Pleasantville, America' - and also out of place emotionally."
Klemmer then explained that after Sara was brought back to dead in "Arrow" she has not been herself and she feels that she is no longer capable to have any romantic feelings for anyone. As he said, "The strict social norms of the fifties makes this the last place Sara Lance would ever expect to find love with a young, closeted nurse, but that's how love works - it findsyou."
But then, the unexpected happened when Sara and Lindsay met for the first time.
Klemmer said, "When Sara first meets Lindsay Carlisle, she finds herself in the position of caring about someone for the first time in forever - an idea she's not entirely sure she's ready for." He added, "It's easy for our cold hearted assassin to kill a hundred people, but does she have the ability to care about one?"
Meanwhile, Carter Matt reported that Sara perfectly nailed it on the new premiere photo of "Legends Of Tomorrow." It has been reported that a lot the show's fans are looking forward on how things will unfold for Sara after being dead for so long. Will Sara be able to feel something strong and different now that Lindsay is around? That is a good storyline to watch out for.
"Legends of Tomorrow" is set to debut on Thursday, Jan. 21 on The CW.
