Harvey continued, "Miss Universe 2015 is Philippines."

Steve explained and cleared things to the audience and to everyone what happened and said, "Listen, folks. Let me just take control of this." He continued, "This is exactly what's on the card. I will take responsibility for this. It was my mistake." He then showed the card he was holding on screen.

Miss Philippines was beyond shocked when she heard the announcement. The most unexpected and definitely unbelievable ending to such prestigious beauty pageant happened on live television.

According to NBC News, the Miss Universe Pageant officials gave their statement and apologized to both Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines. The Pageant official said, "The excitement of live TV was evident tonight on the Miss Universe stage with over 10 million live fan votes tabulated. Unfortunately, a live telecast means that human error can come into play. We witnessed that tonight when the wrong winner was initially announced."
