Reports say that production for the second season of "Outlander" has been completed and the hit TV series is all set for its premiere in spring 2016. And to keep fans' anticipation alive, new teaser photos have been released on the official Facebook page of "Outlander."
"Outlander" Season 2 will follow Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) as they travel from Scotland to France and attempt to stop the Jacobite rebellion. In one of the teaser photos, Jamie and Murtagh Fraser (Duncan Lacroix) are in talk with a French man. The caption reads, "When business takes you to strange places, make sure to keep your most trusted mate at your side."

But while they are up for some serious mission, the romance between the MTV's Best TV couple continues as shown in another teaser photo. It shows Jamie and Claire getting cozy as Jamie hugs Claire from behind. The caption is a simple, "It just feels right."

Outlander is based on Diana Gabaldon's novels of the same title. It tells the story of Jamie and Claire who found romance amidst troubled times during 18th century Scotland, despite Claire being from the 1940s. Spoilers tease that in Season 2, their relationship will be tested, especially when Claire becomes pregnant.
"Outlander" is created by Ronald D. Moore. It stars Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe and Tobias Menzies. The drama series has won several awards already. Most recently, it has been nominated for three Golden Globes awards -- Best Television Series - Drama, Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama (Caitriona Balfe) and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Tobias Menzies).
"Outlander" Season 2 is set to premiere in April 2016 on Starz.
