Miranda Lambert Slammed For Flaunting Her Real Fur Coat; Heirloom Gift Causes Social Media Negative Reactions

Miranda Lambert's name is creating a big fuzz on social media after she posted a photo on her Instagram page wearing a real fur coat. Miranda captioned her photo, "I'm so fancy... You already know' my Nonny gave me two of her fur coats! I definitely know where I got my love for DIAMONDS, FUR and WHISKEY!" She also added some hashtags, "#familytradition #grandmastreasures #besthandmedownever #wandathewanderer #bringitwinter."

Miranda then received mixed reactions for her post -- some liked it but a lot gave negative feedback and even said that it was not "fancy" at all. One comment stated, "Sorry, I love you dearly, but I don't agree with this." Another comment said, "I don't agree with animals dying for coats."

"Not cool for animal lover Miranda," said another one who clearly cares for animals.

Some fans defended Miranda from all the negative comments and said, "I never comment on celebrity profiles but this time I had to @mirandalambert, don't mind all the negativity. It's very nice and more importantly it's a heirloom, what a valuable piece of family history. I hope one day your daughter enjoys it as much as you do."

Another fan even said, "OMG! It's a free country to like what you want, stop posting your oppinions [sic] on someones eleses [sic] page! It' no ones business! If you don't like it, don't look and it is Beautiful by the way!!!"

According to Gossip Cop, there were different sides when it comes to the comments on Miranda's photo. It seems like everyone have their own opinion on whether or not Miranda violated something with what she wore and posted on social media.

But one fan made a big remark and said, "Miranda- you look amazing as always! You keep doing you and I can assure you that we will continue to love you! Now...to the PETA freaks- would you seriously get over yourselves!! This coat was her grandmothers and back then, unlike now- things were obviously much different and had to be!"

The comment continued, "Those generations had no choice nor did they get caught up in making a big deal out of things that were truly none of their business! I can assure you that 1/2 the 'PETA people' on here eat animals on a daily basis, yet are such hypocrites that they rant over a fur coat! Come the hell on!!!! If you don't like the pic, unfollow her! It's none of your business anyway! I mean damn!!!!!"

US Weekly shared that Miranda still made no statement regarding her controversial post. But instead she made a new post on her Instagram page and captioned it, "Her name embroidered inside is priceless. A family heirloom I will cherish forever. I'm so thankful for her and all the things I have learned from her. Nonny is strong, beautiful, feisty and most of all, loving. #grandmastreasures #diamondsfurandwhiskey #wandathewanderer."
