Teresa Giudice's Christmas: 'The Holiday Spirit Was Definitely In The Air'

Since her release from prison, all eyes have been on "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice. This is perhaps why the reality star opted for a quiet and drama-free Christmas Eve with family.

A source close to Giudice revealed that the reality star spent Christmas Eve at her brother Joe Gorga's home where the family shared a traditional Italian meal.

The source said, "It was a nice evening, they kept it small with just the Gorgas and the Giudices. They wanted it to be a quiet celebration for family. Melissa [Joe's wife] cooked a traditional Italian Christmas Eve meal of seven fishes."

Throughout the years, the Gorgas and Giudices have shared some tension. However, it appears that the reality star's return home has brought the family together. Bravo documented the whole evening and featured a special meeting between Giudice and her sister-in-law.

"Melissa and Teresa had a lot to discuss but both wanted to figure out how they can truly make it work," the same source explained emphasizing that the "holiday spirit was definitely in the air" with everyone in the family getting along well.

It is clear that Giudice is having a blast celebrating the holiday season with her family. Just a day after she was released from prison, the reality star gathered her family to pose for a Christmas card-worth snap in front of their tree.

The 43-year-old mom posed together with her husband Joe and daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana. All of them wore black clothes with red details.

However, Giudice's Christmas gift from her husband caused a bit of an outrage. Upon returning home after spending a year in prison for fraud, she found a 2016 Lexus LX SUV on their driveway. The said car was priced at $88,880 minimum.

With the couple's well-publicized debts outstanding, people criticized the Giudices' lavishness. To their defense, their lawyer explained that the Giudices are almost done paying restitution.
