So how do the rich and famous celebrate Christmas? While we all gather around a traditional yuletide dinner and sing carols round our trees, the rich go on tropical vacations just like what gal pals Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King did. The two were spotted in a tropical paradise having lots of yuletide fun but minus Oprah's boyfriend Stedman Graham, a report from Radar Online revealed.
Oprah and Gayle were also with their friends as they soaked up some sun and lazed around talking about their squad goals for the New Year. Of course as pictures of the gang were posted on their social media pages, fans began to wonder where Oprah's long-time boyfriend was.
But later on, it was revealed by the New York Daily News that the paradise getaway group does include Stedman as well as David Oyelowo from "Selma" and Ava DuVernay the movie's director. Also a part of the group was celebrity trainer Bob Greene.
Gayle was the first one to post about their amazing Christmas vacation saying "This is what VACATION looks like in paradise." She also added a caption to a photo of her and 28-year-old daughter, Kirby Bumpus saying, "Love when favorite daughter & favorite @oprah can chill."
Another picture was posted on Instagram with everyone in the group wearing a sarong and this time, Stedman was beside his long-time love. The caption read, "You know what is great about a sarong? It works on all body types! The greene-winfrey-graham-king-bumpus-oyelowo-posse say yaaaaaay!" The group posed wearing brightly colored sarongs on a grassy field. Everyone waving for the camera, even the celebrity couple who seemed to be enjoying their paradise vacation so much!
King will also remember this vacation since her son came over who flew all the way from Nigeria. Photos of Gayle with her son and another one with Oprah were also posted on the journalist's Instagram page. King wrote a caption for these photos saying, "Fav son FINALLY arrives today from Rwanda! It took 36 hours and two days to get here. .. errrebody glad to see HIM."
