NFL Star Peyton Manning Cries Foul Over 'Ridiculous' Allegations of Illegal Drug Use, Broncos and Colts Show Solid Support

Peyton Manning cries foul over allegations that he has used illegal performance-enhancing drugs and will probably sue.

News broke out that the NFL star has used HCG (human growth hormone) by a pharmacist from Institute in Indianapolis, when the Denver Broncos' quarterbeck was recoving from injury way back in 2007, according to US Weekly. The report adds that the allegation stemmed from an Al Jazeera undercover probe, as part o the documentary titled "The Dark Side." It was posted online early Sunday morning.

Manning told ESPN, "It's a joke. It's a freaking joke." He added that he was angry and furious over the matter. "Disgusted is really how I feel, sickened by it."

Charlie Sy was said to have been the one who spoke with the undercover Al Jazeera but he denied it when ESPN asked for his side of the story.

He said, "When I was there, I had never seen the Mannings ever. They were not even living there at that time. Someone who worked there said they had been there before. That was the extent of any knowledge I had. I feel badly. I never saw any files. This is just amazing that it reached this point."

Although Manning did admit that he pursued other therapies when he was recovering, the allegations are baseless. He added that, "It never happened. Never. I really can't believe somebody would put something like this on the air. Whoever said this is making stuff up."

The Broncos defended Manning and on the released statement, they said that Manning does everything the right away. The team supports him all the way and that they do not believe the allegations being made.

Part of the statement says, "Peyton is rightfully outraged by the allegations, which he emphatically denied to our organization and which have been publicly renounced by the source who initially provided them."

Even the Colts, with which Manning was a player before he signed to Denver in 2012, showed their support to the star. They find the allegations utterly ridiculous and reiterated that in the 14 years that he played with the team, he did everything the right way.
