It seems like aside from the Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns is also having some player-coach issue. According to some reports, things are not getting along with suns star player Markieff Morris and his head coach Jeff Hornacek.In a more recent event, Morris was allegedly reported throwing a towel at their head coach Hornacek who was once a star player himself. The act of Morris clearly shows disrespect which humiliated the coach in front of his team and the basketball fans. However, this report was denied by Morris saying via gospelherald that;
"My frustration got the best of me last night," said Morris via Tweeter following the incident. He added, "It won't happen again. I apologize to Jeff. My teammates told me I hit coach with the towel. In no way was that towel intended for him. I just want to help my team win so much. That's my focus moving forward."
On the other side of the story, coach Hornacek revealed that the frustration of Morris was rooted from not having enough playing time. Now he challenges Morris to prove himself rather done saying about it. Hornacek stated that, "He's mad about not playing. I look at the stat sheet, he's a minus-13 in 12 minutes. So there I took him out. He thinks he is better than that. Well, show me."
In line with the incident, a fine and game suspension was given to Morris. Aside from that, there are now rumors that Markieff Morris will be traded to other teams. According to Eric Saar of Basketball Insider, Morris could be traded to the Houston Rockets or to the New Orleans Pelicans. His disruptive locker room attitude and unnecessary distractions seems be pointing the way out from the Phoenix Suns franchise with an obvious decline in his trade value.
Now the questions is which team is up to the task of disciplining and improving Morris, Harden's Rockets or Davis' Pelicans.
