The premiere of "The Walking Dead" Season 5 was met with a vast number of audiences ready to gobble up the zombie series. With a powerful premiere and record-breaking ratings for AMC, fans are excited for the next episode, because what will happen to Rick and the rest of the gang?
AMC has released a trailer for the next episode and it's massively disgusting, according to Wetpaint.
But blood and gore is nothing new in the zombie horror series. What is new for the next episode, however, is the introduction of a new character. According to the International Business Times, Seth Gilliam will appear in TWD as Father Gabriel Stokes, who may or may not have answers to Beth Greene's (Emily Kinney) whereabouts. After all, she was abducted by someone in a car with a cross.
Of course, Beth may be dead for all they know. A fan posted on the official website (as printed by the Epoch Times) that "EK talks about Beth in past tense. It's unusual to hide actress or Actors, since they don't hide the big names on the show like AL, MMB CC, MC and NR, (esp because she has been seen in the trailer already)I am wondering why we are seeing Tyler filming and no EK or the guy she walked into the hospital red brick building with, (Tyler and EK)as they are seen in the trailer def being together. All the signs are there, you just need to know how to read them."
But that is one theory. In a separate article on IBT, rumors say Carol will find Beth in a creepy hospital, triggering a love triangle to keep the rest of the season interesting.
The Season 5 premiere marked the highest ratings for AMC with over 17.3 million viewers. With the action that's yet to come, episode 2 just may surpass that number.
