IPhone 8 Rumoured Features Revealed; Micro-LED Display Technology Expected

There is no telling when this iPhone fever would stop. With Apple Inc. always on the constant move, many enthusiast are likewise in constant watch for some updates and rumors. Every now and then, leaks and supposed preview of the upcoming iPhones are being viewed and speculated in the internet. However, despite is lack of total authenticity of some reports, iPhone fans are still willing to believe it. They are still willing to imagine what is to come, without any exactitude of what to expect.

Despite of iPhone 7 not still being unveiled and its features not still being disclosed, fans are now starting to speculate and search for some leaks regarding the upcoming iPhone 8, even though it could still be two years away.

There are some speculations already about a big leap that Apple's iPhone 8 would be having. This drastic change would allegedly involve not the currently used OLED displays screens of some Apple products, but iPhone 8 screen would likely make use of micro-LED technology. This type of screen display is reportedly to use smaller pixels compared to what we have been using right now.

Ibtimes that detailed that "the technology also has a number of other benefits such as improved color range, lower power consumption and more pixels packed into the same footprint of a similar sized LCD display, according to Digitimes Research analyst Jessie Lin. Like OLED technology, micro-LED screens don't require an additional backlight, which can help Apple save room in its iPhones for other technologies or make its devices even thinner. The drawback is it's difficult to manufacture at the high yield rates needed for mass production."

This type of technology is not originally conceived by Apple, but it bought the rights to use such intellectual property from LuxVue Technology, reported by TechCrunch. However, there is no telling whether such speculation or expectation would be actualized in the coming of iPhone 8. It still early to conclude, there might be some better ideas that could replace the said micro-LED technology in the coming years.
