Hearsay about a "Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini" have been on the web for a few months now. Although there have been purported photos for the said flagship mini, there really hasn't been any concrete proof that the device does or will exist.
But then, that was only until recently, when the "Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini" has been spotted on a retailer's website. LetsTango, a UAE based online retailer, has listed the "Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini" revealing the phone's key specs. As per that listing, the phone should be powered by a hexa core CPU clocked at 1.8 GHz and it will have a Super AMOLED display that is 4.6 inch in size. The RAM is said to be 2 GB and the internal memory is said to be 16 GB.
For the device's camera, the retailer site says that it has a 15 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front snapper. The phone's battery is a non removable Li Ion one, but its capacity hasn't been specified. It was said, however, that the "Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini" will come with a fingerprint sensor that is PayPal certified and the phone will natively run Android v5.1 Lollipop.
This Samsung phone is not yet for sale right now, but the site allows for a signup so that you can get notified via email when the device becomes available for purchase. It's also not impossible for the listing to disappear soon, especially when the device isn't actually up for sale yet. The site may just be promoting the phone so they can inform interested buyers immediately when the phone becomes available.
If the said specs are from a reliable source, it looks like the "Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini" is worth getting excited for. The internals are impressive, and so are the cameras. Let's just wait and hope for the best about the S6 Mini's release.
