"Boruto" is the son of Naruto Uzumaki which was the main character in Masashi Kishimoto's animation series. Will "Boruto" live out far from the expectations that the "Naruto" manga series achieved?
The man behind the hit anime series Masashi Kishimoto once announced that he will not be the appointed artist for the said manga that will be released in Spring 2016. Mikio Ikemoto will be the main artist for the new manga series and thus Kishimoto will just direct him in the process.

Among its pointers were bringing the old elements of "Naruto" to "Boruto," the outlet specified that "If Kishimoto wants his "Boruto" to be as successful as "Naruto," he needs to push for elements from the first season to be utilized again." Some of the details that injects this point were introducing "more ninja battles involving strategy and tactic, and other ninjas from different villages taking part in the plot."
Apart from bridging the old theme to the new, another thing that the outlet stressed out was bringing in new characters in the story just like the unexpected villain that entered "Naruto: The Seventh Hokage" which was described as "a mix between Orochimaru and Danzo."
The most important thing that producers and Kishimoto must aim for the new manga series is the uniqueness and overall development of Boruto's character from the rest of the other characters in the previous "Naruto" series.
"It's important that in the new series, Boruto develops into his own character, with his own Jutsu, and his own strategies. He needs to live up to his status as a prodigy, the same way Sasuke and Neji did in the first series," as pointed out in the article.
