Celebrity Real Estate: The Childhood Home in Omaha of the Late Actor Marlon Brando is For Sale for $260K

The childhood house of the late actor Marlon Brando in Omaha which is complete with a cozy fireplace and carved wooden staircase is for sale. This completely rehabbed historic home of the eight-time Oscar nominee went on the market in late November for $260,000.

The beloved actor has won Academy Awards for his iconic roles in "The Godfather" and "On the Waterfront."

According to the Realtor news, the house that was built in 1900 that stands two and a half stories high has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and features timeless details such as French doors off the dining room, 9.5-foot ceilings, an elegant entryway, and two fireplaces one in the living and another on the lower level.

The master suite on the third floor and the formal dining room is suitable to today's entertaining needs, whether it's a holiday meal or a book club gathering. The modern-day layout of the house has a beautiful addition of the sun room and office.

The large yard of the property, features a pool and an ample space for gardening or for a patio or dining area. There are two porches on the backside of the home one on each level.

Marlon Brando's carnality and suppressed violence electrified the screen in movie classics such as "The Wild One" "On The Waterfront" and "A Streetcar Named Desire."

Even if he was confirmed as one of the greatest actors of his generation after the success of "The Godfather," Brando was viewed as a visceral actor, a man of great emotion but with questionable intellect. After all, he failed in both kindergarten and high school and his dubious social issues befuddled his fans, as reported by Express news.

But when the 10th anniversary of his death on July 1 is nearing, a new book "Brando's Smile" tells his secret that a only few men knew: a star whose appetite for sex was matched by his interest in gaining more knowledge, which is supported by a library of more than 4,000 books on philosophy, religion and every subject imaginable.
