Filming for "Sense8" Season 2 is set to begin and fans are already excitedly anticipating for the show's return on Netflix for more episodes. While several cast members have dropped hints about the upcoming season of the show, many fans came up with their own theories for Season 2. "Sense8" Season 2 is rumored to have a delayed release date, as many fans were initially expecting that the series will be airing its sophomore season around June 2016. However, recent reports cited by TV Series Finale claim that the show may have been pushed back to a later date, as filming is expected to begin in March 2016.
SheKnows reported, however, that several "Sense8" Season 2 cast members have already revealed that they are all set to begin filming on Dec. 28.
"We begin Season 2 in 10 days," actor Aml Ameen (Capheus) tweeted on Dec. 18.
"20 days of the year end and also the start of Sense8 shoot! I want time to go fast and slow," said actress Tina Desai.
Given that the cast and crew will begin filming for "Sense8" Season 2 sooner than expected, does this mean the release date is back to June 2016? Until Netflix announces the show's official release date, everything is but a speculation.
Meanwhile, the aforementioned publication also listed several interesting "Sense8" Season 2 spoilers and theories, including the possibility that Capheus' connection to Amanita will be explored. According to the outlet, hints about Amanita's past were revealed in Season 1, which opens up the possibility that this will be fully explored in the upcoming season.
The outlet also noted that "Sense8" Season 2 Episode 3 seems to be an exciting episode, as stars Jamie Clayton and Brian J. Smith (Will) previously hinted of breathtaking scenes in the said episode.
"I just read @sense8 ep 3, Season 2. HOLY MOLY. Y'all aren't even ready..." he said.
