Pregnant CNN Anchor Poppy Harlow Faints While Reporting Live

Pregnancy is a very difficult and life-changing moment for every woman and Poppy Harlow is one of the recent examples of how hard it is to work while you are expecting.

Harlow gave everyone a fright Monday morning as she slurred her words and passed out while reporting live. The CNN news anchor was introducing a segment about the latest poll on American's opinion about war on terrorism when the incident happened, a Radar Online report said.

As Harlow started her sentence she suddenly lost track of what she was about to say. Viewers could only see some infographic about the recent network poll but the news anchor could be heard gasping for air as she eventually lost consciousness.

There was a short moment of silence and then media reporter Brian Steller gave his closing comments for his Sunday media show, Reliable Sources. He did not make any comment or explained what happened to the pregnant journalist as he ended his weekend show.

Later, the 33-year-old journalist took to Twitter what happened to her that morning. She explained to her viewers and at the same time reassured them that she was fine. She tweeted: "I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment. I am fine!"

She also posted a message to her viewers saying, "Thank you all for your concern and messages! I am ok! Passed out briefly and am with the doctor now. So thankful to our amazing CNN team."

Poppy's baby girl is due in the spring and is doing really well. She tweeted to her followers saying, "Update from the hospital -- our little girl due this spring is doing just fine. Was a scare but we are both ok. Thank you all so much!"

Poppy Harlow may certainly need an extended Christmas vacation after this scary moment!
