Week 8 of NCAA college football action will feature several great match-ups both in the Big 10 and SEC Conferences, as teams outside the playoff picture scramble to stay striking distance, while the top-4 programs try to further solidify their place in the final four at the end of the regular-season.
Oklahoma State Cowboys (5-1, 3-0 Big 12) vs. TCU Horned Frogs (4-1, 1-1 Big 12) at Amon G. Carter Stadium
Thanks to Tyreek Hill's 99-yard TD return to beat Kansas Jayhawks 27-20, the Cowboys are still sharing the top spot in the Big 12 along with still undefeated Baylor Bears.
However, the no.15 Cowboys have not faced a top-25 teams in their last five games since losing to then no.1 Florida State Seminoles. On Saturday, they will have a chance to prove their mettle against a tough Horned Frogs squad that pushed Baylor to the limit in their thrilling, high-scoring clash last week (61-58).
"We came out with a victory. We're undefeated in league play, and we're 5-1. There's definitely things to learn from the game, like there is from each game," linebacker Seth Jacobs said before their all-important game against TCU. "We're in a good position right now, and we just have to focus on the next game."

Alabama Crimson Tide (5-1, 2-1 SEC) vs. Texas A&M Aggies (5-2, 2-2 SEC) at Bryant-Denny Stadium
The Crimson Tide have been shaky as of late, as Nick Saban's boys lost to Ole Miss 23-17 on Week 6 before grinding out a hard-earned 14-13 win over Arkansas last week.
However, Saban downplayed the notion that Crimson Tide is starting to crumble, stressing high-expectations of college football pundits are the only reasons why they slid out of the top-4 in the BCS Coaches' Poll.
"Everybody's got such a high expectation for what our team should be," Saban said. "It really sorta, if you want to know the truth about it, (ticks) me off when I take to people that have this expectation like they're disappointed that we only won the game, 14-13, and in the way we played."
