A new report about "Elder Scrolls 6" has surfaced on Tuesday saying that the popular video game is expected to be a direct sequel to "Skyrim 2." It can be recalled that Pete Hines, Bethesda's Vice President for Public Relations and Marketing, has shared that the game is still being developed, a report from Master Herald said.
According to the report, players have to patiently wait for "The Elder Scrolls 6" to be launched. This comes after Bethesda has announced that the company's game developers are still focusing on "Fallout 4."
"This leaves little room for any possible developments on the other franchise. It's possible that the developers could have been actively planning and brainstorming, but other than that they have likely invested very little work into the game so far, and there is probably not much progress. This of course could have various implications - from the plot, to characters and the overall setting of the game, we could see something quite similar to 'Skyrim' if that's the case. Of course, it's also possible that the writers could continue the story of the previous game, but put it in a new setting, which would make things even more interesting for fans of the franchise who are excited to see the last story continued," the report said.
Vinereport has stated that previous rumors suggest that the game will be titled as the "Elder Scrolls: Argonia" which is based on either "Oblivion" or "Morrowland." However, Bethesda has dismissed the rumor and recent rumor points out that the setting of the game will be located in either "Valenwood" and "Elyswer."
"It has been clear that this won't be the title of the upcoming game. Additionally, it was believed that TES 6 will be based on Morrowind and Oblivion, but it's becoming obvious that it'll be a direct sequel to Skyrim 2,"Crossmap said.
