Sheryl Crow, the famous country crooner, has finally managed to get a "sale pending" sign on her Hollywood Hills estate, which has been on the market for quite a while.
Crow listed the home in October 2012. It debuted with a $15.95 million price tag, but got a discount by January 2013.
It got two more price choppers in 2013 before finally being de-listed in December. It came back on the market for $11.95 million in April this year and after all those months of no buyer activity, Crow managed to snag a buyer.
Myra Nourmand of Nourmand & Associates-BH is the listing agent. Crow purchased the property in 1993 for around $16 million.
The residence is spread over an expanse of 11 acres. The gated property has three early century styled homes.
The main house is comprised of 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms that have all undergone renovation.
Interiors of the home feature beamed ceilings and Spanish tiled flooring. A gourmet kitchen and a modern wine cellar are some of its exquisite culinary features.
The home also has a cozy study/library and a charming music room. Opening towards the back are beautiful gardens that have a stone fireplace and a barbecue.
The other unit on the property is a 3 bedroom-3 bathroom cottage that Crow used as a guest house. Another sprawling bungalow comprising of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms has brilliant white oak flooring. A claw-foot bathtub adorns one of the two bathrooms as well.
The homes also offer scenic views of the hills and ocean. Crow lived in the place for 20 years before she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She reportedly packed up and moved to Tennessee. The home appeared in the March 2011 issue of the Architectural Digest.

More recently, the nine-time Grammy winner snapped up three river-front parcels of land near Nashville, Tenn., for a combined amount of $650,000.
The "Soak Up the Sun" singer also owns a 51-acre ranch in the area. Crow has been trying to sell that off for about three years now.
The estate (originally 147 acres) was first listed in 2010 for $7.5 million. However, failing to sell over a year, the price was reduced to $4.5 million and the lot size was also cut down to the current 51 acres. Apparently, 147 acres was too large to sell in one deal. It is currently off-market.
