‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Proposal, Murder and New Romance Hit Salem

"Days of Our Lives" spoilers tease fans of exciting episodes ahead, as the NBC soap opera will have overall themes of romance and tragedy in 2016. Romance will be blossoming for a couple; a proposal will be taking place for another, while someone will become a victim of murder.

"Days" spoilers hint that fans should brace themselves for an even more exciting year ahead, as it looks like the Salem killing incident is not yet done. While fans can be rest assured that the Salem necktie killer is already in the hands of the police, another murder is said to take place in town, which will leave at least one Salemite dead.

In a recent interview with executive producer Ken Corday, it has been made known that a major character will be murdered in the upcoming episodes, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported. The publication further noted on the possibility that this major character is none other than Stefano DiMera and his character will remain on contract with the NBC soap, but his character will only be appearing as a ghost from thereon.

Aside from this cold-blooded murder taking place in Salem, DOOL spoilers from the outlet reveal that Chad and Abigail's relationship will progress once Chad recovers his memories after being brainwashed by his brother, Andre. Not only that, the outlet further hinted that Chad will be proposing to Abigail, especially after finding out that he is the father of Abigail's son, Thomas.

New romance may also be blossoming for Rafe and Hope, as the former will continue to be there for Hope while she tries to find justice over Bo's death. Unfortunately for Hope, she will also be in danger while trying to get revenge for Bo's death.

DOOL spoilers from She Knows Soaps also hint that there will be an accident taking place in Salem, which will change the lives of several families in town. This accident is believed to take the life of Daniel and will also put Jennifer in a critical condition.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Monday to Friday on NBC.
