'Glee''s Mark Salling Bails Out Of Jail After Scandalous Child Porn Arrest [WATCH VIDEO]

Hours after being booked for the possession of child pornography last December 29, Mark Salling or better known as "Puck" on hit series "Glee" posted the $20,000 bail and was released from police custody.

In a paparazzi video, the actor can be seen driving himself out of the jail property in a black Prius. He seemed to be in a rush as though he was avoiding the media.

During the police search of Salling's Sunland, California residence, the Los Angeles Police Department's Internet Crimes against Children Task Force uncovered over a thousand images that featured the "sexual exploitation" of children. The said images were recovered from his personal computer, phones, tablets and other electronics. The actor lives alone, so the likelihood of anyone else being responsible for the pornographic material recovered is very slim.

Furthermore, police officials revealed that the subjects involved in the images found in Salling's home were all "significantly younger" than the age of 15 years old.

According to reports, an ex-girlfriend of the actor's allegedly tipped off the police about his possession of child pornography. Before the LAPD raided Salling's home, the police conducted a thorough investigation to make sure that the ex-girlfriend, who requested to remain unnamed, wasn't just making stories for revenge on the actor.

This is not the first time that Salling had a run in with the law. In 2013, a woman named Roxanne Gorzela sued the "Glee" actor for sexual battery and assault. She claimed that he forced unprotected sex on her despite her insistence to use a condom. Gorzela also claimed that Salling assaulted her physically when she asked if he had been tested for STDs. Earlier this year, the actor agreed to pay Gorzela more than $2.7 million to settle the case. There is no indication that the said woman was the one who tipped off the authorities in the child pornography case.
