'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Spoilers: Jimmy Will Run the Show

"Better Call Saul" will once again hit the TV screens as their second season would be making a comeback by 2016. As per the International Business Times, AMC already released photos of the upcoming episodes. One of the photos that AMC released is a photo of Jimmy McGill [who is portrayed by Bob Odenkirk] and Mike Ehrmantraut [Jonathan Banks] wherein they are both standing inside the elevator. Another is a photo of Jimmy sitting in his chair with a faint smile on his face.

Filming "Better Call Saul" season 2 has already ended and the series is said to hit the TV screens by February 15 of next year. Now that season two has wrapped, numerous spoilers have been emerging on various websites. But as for Yahoo TV, it was the showrunner, Peter Gould who gave out major details and plot twists for next year's season.

During his interview with Yahoo TV, Gould stated that Jimmy would be the "spine of the show" as season 2 would be more focused on his character's adventures.

"I think the biggest single decision was to let Jimmy's character create the spine of the show. It means that we ended up with a show, Season 1 and Season 2, which is totally unpredictable."

He then added that amidst the fact that "Better Call Saul" season 1 was quite a bumpy ride, fans are still looking forward for the upcoming season.

"In Season 1 especially, there were some episodes that were so dark and some that were so light. They were right next to each other. That was something that scared us, but I'm so glad that we proceeded with that. I'm even happier that the audience went along with us on the ride."

Saul also added that Jimmy's character will be tested and his ability to bounce back after hitting rock bottom will be something that fans could look forward to.

"So much of what happens in Season 2 is wrapped up in the DNA of the decisions the characters made in Season 1. That's one of the things that makes it, hopefully, feel like a united whole, He's [Jimmy] unstoppable. We always talk about that round bottom clown that kids have, that [toy] where you can hit it in the face and he pops right back up. That's Jimmy. He gets knocked down, but he always pulls himself back up. I agree with Bob. That's one of the things that's most endearing about him. That ability to bounce back is going to be tested in Season 2."
