Tiger Woods Net Worth: Golf Star's Kids Choose Soccer Over Golf; Famous Golfer Not Ready to Retire Yet

According to Tiger Woods, if you want to piss off your famous father, tell him he is not your idol but someone else-even though he is a world famous figure. That is what his children did because Woods is compared to soccer legend Lionel Messi. But of course it was all a joke!

USA Today reports that when Woods children were asked a question: Would you rather be Lionel Messi on the pitch or Tiger Woods on the golf course?

The response was immediate. The children, daughter Sam, 8, and son, Charlie, 6 after all, are crazy about the world's most popular sports.

"Messi," Sam immediately said, smiling and giggling.

"Messi," Charlie said and added, "He's playing."

They are referring to Wood's back injury. USA Today adds that the famous golfer has not played since late August due to an ailing back that's required three surgical procedures in the same area in 19 months. His body, and his game (which as a matter of course naturally follows) has been in tatters in the last couple of years.

Despite the injury, Woods remain one of the most famous golfer of all time. He is also considering to return to another sport.

"The kids are so into soccer, and they always want to play, and I can't do that. I have to be the best cheerleader I can possibly be. But still, it's nothing like interacting with my kids and being a part of their lives and being out there with them. I just hope I can do that soon. If I can get to that, then we can start talking about golf."

Woods movements and physical activities are still limited to light stretching and a little bit of walking following the last (third) procedure done on his back last Oct. 28.

Surely, fans have been waiting for his return. After, he said that his career, even at age 40, has not been concluded yet.

Tiger Woods' net worth is $700 million.
