According to International Business Times, in "2 Broke Girls" Season 5 episode 7, Caroline's grandmother, Astrid (Judith Roberts) wakes up without knowing that their family had a massive money scandal. It was reported that Caroline will try her best to keep this secret from her grandmother as she plans a family luncheon for her. Can Caroline keep the family's financial status from her grandmother?
Meanwhile, actress Beth Behrs recently appeared in "The Ellen DeGeneres" show for the celebration of the show's 100th episode. The actress revealed that she is now into welding and she is planning to make her own furniture and fix things in her home.
In other news, Inquisitr reports that the show currently has low ratings, and it may be one of the programs that will be cancelled next year. Different outlets expressed their concerns about the low ratings the show is getting and compared it with "Mike & Molly." It was reported that although the show had strong ratings in the earlier seasons, the current season only averaged with a 1.6 rating, which is behind "Mike & Molly" with 1.95.
With that, "2 Broke Girls" might join some of the shows that could end in 2016 like "Castle," "Bones," and even "Scream Queens." As of writing, there is still no confirmation from CBS about the cancellation of the show next year. Other outlets believe that if the show will deliver steady ratings for the rest of the season, it might still be renewed for another year.
"2 Broke Girls" Season 5 episode 7 will air on CBS on Jan. 13.
