Game developer Nintendo has announced that it will roll out downloadable contents for the popular video game "Super Smash Bros." It was said that the game's new DLC will be a "Fire Emblem" playable character named Corin. The game's new character is expected to come for both Wii U and 3DS consoles, a report from Vinereport said on Wednesday.
"Corrin will be wielding the final form of the Yato blade, the Omega Yato. Corrin can also use the Dragon Fang to transform into a dragon. When transformed, Corrin makes use of certain body parts of the dragon form such as the wings and the long reach it gives in attacking. The character's Standard Special, Dragon Fang Shot, paralyzes or bites away opponent in an attack. Players can also charge up this attack with the B button, to deal more damage to the unfortunate opponent. The Side Special, Dragon Lunge, has the ability not only to thrust opponents, but also pin them to the ground for a while for a follow up attack. The Up Special, Dragon Ascent, makes full use of the wings," the report said.
According to the report, Corrin can actually assume the role as either a male or a female playable character in the game. This means that the character's role will depend entirely on the preference of the players.
"Launching as downloadable content planned for February 2016, Corrin from Fire Emblem Fates joins the roster of both Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Like Wii Fit Trainer, Robin and the Villager, players can choose to play as a male or female version of the character. Corrin has the blood of a dragon in his veins, allowing him to transform and pull off attacks like no other fighter. Corrin will be available as a download in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS or Wii U for $4.99, or both game versions together for $5.99," Nintendo said.
