'Apple iPhone 7c' News, Specs, Release: New Apple Phone May Launch April, Will Come With 4 Inch Screen With 2.5D Glass

The "Apple iPhone 7c" has been a long rumored device. People may have been craving for a smaller iPhone after Apple fed us with a series of massive screened iPhones that although were impressively spec'd, may not be too easy to grip at times. This is probably why Apple is being rumored to have been developing an "Apple iPhone 7c" to be the successor to the "iPhone 5c" that has been released quite a long time ago.

Although Apple did not confirm this rumor, there have been clues that suggest that the 7c is really coming. The China Mobile roadmap for instance, it actually listed the "Apple iPhone 7c" with a launch month of April. And just recently, there have been leaks suggesting that the "Apple iPhone 7c" will look a lot like the "Apple iPhone 5c" in terms of shape and size. The rumors also suggest that the 7c will come in three colors and will carry a battery that has a 1642 mAh capacity.

Basing on what has been said about the rumored "Apple iPhone 7c" so far, it is possible that the device will be metal-clad and will have a screen size of 4 inches. There are also talks about a 2.5D curved glass and an Apple A9 chip.

According to the most recent reports, the "Apple iPhone 7c" has finished the process of trial production. A mass production may then start in a month's time. Although this is only a rumor, this is backed up by earlier reports saying that AU Optronics has received an order of 4 inch panels for the supposed "Apple iPhone 7c". This has also been followed by an analyst's report (Ming-Chi Kuo) saying that the "iPhone 7c" could launch within 2016.

However, unless Apple gives us an announcement, nothing is official. But still, all signs point us to a 7c model or at least a smaller iPhone, no matter what the company decides to label it.
