Rob Kardashian was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital over the weekend for not feeling well. After some medical test, the young Kardashian was diagnosed with diabetes. He is currently in a stable condition.
The 28-year-old, former reality star and the brother of the famous Kardashian sisters, had no idea that he is diabetic. Rob has stayed out of the limelight for the past several years and has been battling his weight problems for some time now. It is also said that he was also fighting depression issues as well, TMZ reported.
Rob has rarely been seen on extravagant family occasions because of his overweight appearance, where he really felt depressed and insecure. He has also avoided being photographed, opting out even on his sister's wedding, Kim to husband Kanye West. Rob is said to have gained 100 lbs in just a few years, but is already planning for a healthier 2016 lifestyle when the incident happened.
The whole Kardashian family have been saddened by the recent development on Rob. A source close to the family told People, "Rob is still struggling and it makes the family sad. He deals with depression, weight issues and low self-esteem, but that's been going on for a long time."
It was also previously reported that Rob has spent 60 days in a rehab center in the Palm Beach County. Her mother Kris Jenner quickly denied the allegations, though.
Rob has been living with Khloe in Los Angeles for a time now and has really been affected by the turn of events with his brother. The source also added that Khloe has been supportive of Rob and had been giving him several advices. She even encourages Rob to be with other people. However, it has to start with Rob himself, the source added.
