Jason Kidd Lists Hamptons Estate for $7.99 Million

Jason Kidd, the former NBA point guard who now coaches the Milwaukee Bucks, has reportedly listed his estate in the Hamptons for sale with an asking price of $7.99 million.

Kidd's water mill estate is located just a few minutes away from Milwaukee. The Wall Street Journal broke news of the listing noting that Matthew Breitenbach of Corcoran Group Real Estate is the listing agent.

Property records show that Kidd bought the estate for $5 million in 2012, when he was still playing with the Dallas Mavericks and just a season before he announced his retirement embarking on his coaching career.

The residence in question here is a 7,800-square-foot single family mansion, sitting on a 1.87-acre lot. The house is comprised of six bedrooms and six bathrooms spread over two stories.

Kidd's wife Porschla Kidd told The Journal in an email that the interiors were reminiscent of that of a beach home. Dark hardwood floors, French windows and doors and high ceilings adorn the open spaces running throughout the floor plan.

The home has the modern kitchen with a massive center island that features a marble countertop and the huge man cave that has several of Kidd's personal memorabilia. Apart from the formal living spaces, the house also boasts of a plush master suite with an expansive en-suite bathroom that has separate his and her sinks. The home is reportedly being sold fully furnished.

Outside, the home has a gunite pool sitting on a vast spread of green. A carriage house and pool house are also a part of the property. A basketball court, a tennis court with a pavilion and ample parking are some of its other features.

After Kidd announced his retirement, he decided to take up coaching as his second career. However, the rookie coach has been having a bumpy career so far. He joined the Milwaukee Bucks after he was exchanged by the Brooklyn Nets for draft picks, making him the second coach to have traded coaching rights.
