Cowboys vs. Redskins Live Stream, Box Score Stats and Highlights of NFL Monday Night Football

The Dallas Cowboys will attempt to prolong their hotstreak on Monday against the Washington Redskins, who could finally see starting quarterback Robert Griffin III in action after a five-game absence.

The Cowboys' six-game winning stream has been one of the biggest stories in the season, reawakening a fan-base that has been waiting too long for their team to rise into contention once again.

Over their hot run, Jerry Jones' billion dollar football team defeated the St. Louis Rams, the New Orleans Saints, Houston Texans and New York Jets. However, there's no victory than their 30-23 trumping of the reigning Super Bowl champ Seattle Seahawks on their opponents' home turf.

Quarterback Tony Romo has already covered 1,789 yards with 14 touchdowns and six interceptions through their first seven games, but the biggest star for the Cowboys this season is running back DeMarco Murray, who never failed to top the 100 rushing yards every game this season.

Cowboys' torrid run this season has certainly surprised many NFL analyst and even their owner and general manager Jerry Jones.

"I think our record is above what we could have expected, but we have it and it's a credit to a team that's building in confidence," Jones said of his Cowboys, who gun for their seventh straight victory in their first and only Monday Night Football stint of the season.

Meanwhile, the Redskins are looking to keep their winning ways after snapping a four-game losing streak with a victory against the Tennessee Titans 19-17 last Sunday on their home turf.

With Griffin sitting on the sideline with an ankle injury, the Redskins struggled to get their offense going, especially if opponents defense continue to pick up Kick Cousins' passes. In an effort to control the bleeding, the Redskins coaching staff decided to roll the dice on veteran signal-caller Colt McCoy, who then delivered with one of the finest game in his pro career against Tennessee. McCoy completed 11 of his 12 passes for 128 yards with one touchdown to lead the Redskins to their second win of the season.

Moreover, head coach Jay Gruden gave more reasons to be optimistic at this point of the season for the Redskins, announcing that Griffin could be a wildcard in Monday's showdown with the 'Boys.

"I've already made the decision. I've said it's going to be Colt," Gruden told ESPN. "I've said Robert will be the wild card, possibly, if he's ready to go, and that still hasn't been decided yet."
