"Love and Hip-Hop" cast member Yandy Smith went through a series of twist and bumps after her husband Mendeecees Harris was sent to prison for drugs. As per Design and Trend, not only did Mendeecees leave her, but he got another girl pregnant when they were apart.
One of the bonus clips from "Love and Hip-Hop" showed Smith sharing that she thought her life was over after finding out that the person Mendeecees dated was pregnant.
"Even Mendeecees and I ... We were broken up for a while, and he started dating someone else, and he came back and told me that person got pregnant, and I thought my world was over. This is before Omere, and I said 'We don't' have any children together, let's be apart,' and he consistently [said] 'No. No' and he was very, very clear that 'This is where I want to be.'"
Despite the fact that she went through a rough 2015, the music manager remained positive and thankful for everybody that gave her support which gives her strength to move forward.
"Thank you for your continued support, you have no idea how much your love and encouragement means. We finally have closure and are prepared and ready for all the future holds. God and love always prevails. Thank you God for family and love. I consider some of you I never met family."
Earlier this month, Yandy told Democrat and Chronicle that everything is up to God as she is no longer in control of her husband's sentencing situation.
"The best case scenario is that he won't have to go anywhere, and everything is up in the air with God, In my head - and this is honestly how we run our house and run our lives - [Mendeecees] is not going anywhere. He's not."
"There is going to be something that is going to happen, a law is going to get passed, and that's kind of how my life has been set up my whole life."
