Taylor Swift's 'Teardrops In My Guitar' Song Inspiration Andrew Hardwick Arrested for Alleged Child Abuse

The man who inspired Taylor Swift to write the song "Teardrops In My Guitar," Andrew Hardwick, has been arrested for child abuse.

People reports that a 3-year-old girl under the care of Andrew, his wife Joni and another man named Christopher Hardwick, has suffered lacerations and concussions that she had to be airlifted to be brought to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital. Andrew was the one how hit the child.

Based on the affidavits People obtained, according to the mother, Amber Hardwick, the child, and another 5-year old girl were with Andrew on another floor. The older one was also hit but the good is, she did not need medical attention.

Police says that Christopher and Andrew were intoxicated and the former looked "extremely belligerent" when he approached with the child. He also seemed to have put up a fight when the police attempted to retrieve the little girl. Joni, on the other hand, kicked an officer and shove another.

Andrew was out on bail amounting to $100,000 was charged for aggravated child abuse and child abuse and is required to appear on court come February 10. Joni was also released after paying $1,000 bond and has court appearance on Feb. 8, while Christopher will appear on court come Jan. 25 after he was cited for assualt and disorderly conduct.

Andrew is Taylor's Swift young love in high school. She told Washington Post way back in 2008, when the now hit "Tear Drops In My Guitar" was released, "He showed up at my house when I was leaving to go to a hockey game with Kellie [Pickler] and Carrie [Underwood]. This car pulls up and two guys get out, and one of them is Drew. I hadn't talked to him in two and a half years. He was like, 'Hey, how's it going?' And I'm like, 'Wow, you're late? Good to see you?'"

She continued, "But we were civilized. I have theories about what he was doing. He had his friend with him, so maybe he was trying to prove to people that the song really is about him or whatever. Or maybe he was really trying to be friends. Or maybe he thought I was still pining away from him. Whatever!"

Andrew has not made any comment.
