"Doctor Strange" has finally met his main antagonist. Executive Producer Stephen Broussard officially announced Mads Mikkelsen as the main villain in the upcoming Marvel Movie.
It has been months since an official update was released for the "Doctor Strange" movie. Yahoo Singapore reports that Marvel's big boss Kevin Feige that Mads' character will also be a sorcerer like that of Benedict Cumberbatch. However, he will break off with his own sect to follow the beliefs of the Ancient One, to be portrayed by Tilda Swinton. He also believes that the world would become a better place if they allow the supernatural and monsters to enter the realm of the living.
However, Mads' character remains to be a mystery since there are already so many speculations on who will be the main villain for the "Doctor Strange" movie. Kevin Feige revealed that it would be really fun to reveal who his character is, however, he would rather keep it as a surprise, hopefully for the meantime.
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly features a very special sneak peek on Benedict Cumberbatch's look as the Marvel Superhero "Doctor Strange." The production is due to finish this coming March 2016 and would most likely be released around November according to reports. This is the very first time for Benedict Cumberbatch to try out his costume as Doctor Stephen Strange, the main character in the upcoming Marvel movie. As the MCU continues to expand, more characters, both heroes and villains are also expected to appear in the film.
Benedict Cumberbatch reveals that he is still in the infancy stages when it comes to learning all the magical things and tricks that he needs to do for the film. Even the little details on where to place his finger while casting spells is still being worked out. The actor also admits that he's a little bit self-conscious while shooting some of the scenes. However, he sees the experience as something great and remarkable for his career.
Marvels "Doctor Strange" movie is set for theaters around November of 2016.
