'Finding Dory' Release Date, Cast, News, Spoilers: 'Finding Nemo 2' Adds A Whale Shark That Can't Swim Straight and A Beluga Whale That Has Sonar Capability Issues

Disney Pixar's "Finding Dory" will soon be hitting the big screen in 2016 and fans are eager to know who the rest of the characters are. It's already been a given fact that Ellen DeGeneres will be portraying the character of the blue tang, Dory, who already made her debut in "Finding Nemo."

As per Screen Rant, two additional characters will be joining the fun as Bailey and Destiny will be making her first onscreen appearance.

Entertainment Weekly revealed the new characters that will be joining Dory in her underwater adventures. One of which is a snub nosed beluga whale which would be portrayed by Ty Burrell from the "Modern Family." Kaitlin Olson from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" will be portraying the character of a whale shark named Destiny.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Burrell shared that he's a big fan of "Finding Nemo" back in 2003. "I'm a huge fan," he says. "It's hard to find that balance of very sweet, very funny and great adventure in a story." 

The "Finding Nemo" director, Andrew Stanton then shared that the team have been doing their best to recapture the "highly anticipated follow up."

Burrell dished out his character's disability, he told the news website that Destiny, is having a hard time swimming straight.

"My character isn't great at his own sonar capability, and Destiny has trouble swimming straight"

Both Burrell and Olsen's character will be Dory's new buddies for her upcoming adventures.

Olsen on the other hand shared their character's mishaps by stating that Bailey and Destiny would always be bickering as Bailey would call her character, a whale.

"We totally get on each other's nerves, I like to think I'm a shark, but Bailey calls me a whale, and I make fun of his head, because it's gigantic."

"Finding Dory" is slated for a June 17, 2016 release date.
