Rihanna is back on the headlines as her "Anti" album would soon hit the shelves. Before her album would hit the airwaves however, it is already bombarded with rumors and speculations. As per Design and Trend, Riri was dissed by Azealia Banks for flaking out on their collaboration.
As per the report, Rihanna approached the singer-songwriter to work with her on a collaboration for Riri's upcoming "Anti" album. It is uncertain as to whether Banks will be ghost writing for the singer, or she's singing a few verses with the "S&M" singer. Though their collaboration was already a done deal, the website stated that Rihanna backed out on their project.
Azealia posted a Tweet back in December 24 which stated that she prefers not being approached rather than offer to collaborate with her and end up backing out .
"Like, I would really rather not be approached to collab, especially if everyone is going to chicken out. Lol"
Banks didn't mention anybody on her Tweet, but the singer posted another cryptic tweet on the 23rd stating that someone approached her for collaboration, but eventually backed out after being intimidated.
"@AZEALIABANKS these girls seeks me out, ask for my help then get intimidated when they find out how easy it is for me to re-create and re-vamp their sound."
As per Rhymes with Snitch website on the other hand, Azealia Banks keeps bragging about being part of Rihanna's album. She even used her collaboration with Rihanna to be able to access a VIP party in New York. Despite screaming and insisting that she's part of "Anti," she got arrested after throwing a major tantrum.
With these rumors circulating around the web, Rihanna has not yet mentioned anything about her beef with the rapper. She haven't mentioned anything about the diss or confirm the rumors that she cancelled their collaboration.
