Bradley Cooper will be back as Senator Eddie Morra in "Limitless," but it was reported that his life will be in danger.
It seems like Morra's life will be threatened now that he is running for higher office and his ties with the NZT drug might put his political plans in jeopardy. International Business Times reported that the official synopsis for "Limitless" season 1 episode 12 reveal that an assassin will threaten the life of the senator now that he is running for the presidency. It was also revealed that the assassin's name is Piper (Georgina Haig) who may have a personal relationship with the senator in the past and there is a huge possibility that Piper knows about the NZT Drug.
Meanwhile, Christian Post reported that the FBI is now tasked to keep the senator safe while Morra and Brian's (Jake McDorman) paths will meet again as the latter must do everything he can so that the bureau will not know about Morra's ties with him and the NZT. It was reported that he will try to stray away from agents Rebecca Harris (Jennifer Carpenter) and Agent Spelman Boyle (Hill Harper) so that he can protect the senator. It will also be interesting to see how far Brian will go just to protect the truth about NZT and is he willing to risk his life to protect Morra?
The title of episode 12 is "The Assassination of Eddie Morra" and with that, fans are speculating if the senator will die in the midseason premiere. Aside from the possible death of the senator, fans are also wondering if the government will discover the secret of NZT and if his ties with Brian may affect his bid for the presidency.
"Limitless" season 1 episode 12 will premiere after the show's winter break on Jan. 5 on CBS.
