Batman vs Superman Spoilers: Ben Affleck Explains Why The Movie Is A Match-Watch

Actor Ben Affleck said that his latest movie offering entitled "Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is an attempt to show fans and non-fans alike the "real consequences of violence," that in itself makes it a must-watch.

According to Enstarz, Affleck, who plays the lead role, said the film basically talks about lives being lost. "Death and violence" are among the two main themes about his latest project. "It's more than just entertainment, it's also trying to show that there are real consequences to violence," he said. "When a building collapses, people die, and those are lives lost forever."

Of course, the superstar would not reveal who will prevail in the movie, Batman or Superman, but fans can expect a more complex answer may come out. "Well... When you see the film, you'll realize it's more complicated than that! There's no real winner. I like the idea that Truth is the winner," he said.

The movie also talks about his character's mindset while filming the movie. "He really thinks Superman is an existential menace," Affleck explained, "and he believes destroying him will be his legacy."

Compared to the Man of Steel, his latest rendition of this legendary film will attempt to look for the gray area in the most common black vs. white theme of superhero movies.

Ben Affleck also revealed that he has tremendous faith that this film will reach its highest success because he is working with such talented crew and staff such as Zack Snyder and screenwriter, Christ Terrio.

The legendary comic book-turned film stars Laurence Fishburne who plays Perry White, Amy Adams who plays Lois Lane and Diane Lane who plays Martha Kent. Also starring in the movie are Jeremy Irons and Gal Gadot who plays Alfred Pennyworth and Wonder Woman, respectively.

"Batman vs Superman" is set to dominate the cinemas on March 25, 2016.
