"Young and Restless" spoilers for the week of Jan. 4, 2016 detail that everyone in Genoa City will be worried after Billy's accident. First off, Marisa will keep the truth hidden from the police that Noah's car was the one that hit Billy. While Noah will be planning to come clean about this after finding out the truth from Marisa, his confession will be interrupted when Billy goes on a flat line, She Knows Soaps detailed.

This accident may pave the way for the most awaited transition between actors Burgess Jenkins and Jason Thompson, as the CBS soap opera previously announced that the latter will be taking the role of Billy Abbott in 2016. Y&R spoilers noted on the possibility that the transition may take place in two ways - either there will be another plastic surgery happening or it will be just a simple face swap, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.

Should a plastic surgery take place in order for this transition to happen, there is a possibility that Dr. Neville will participate in this surgery, as fans and viewers will see him take photographs of Billy's medical data from the hospital. "Young and the Restless" spoilers also hint on the possibility that Ashley will soon find new romance despite battling with her illness, as Neville will realize that he has feelings for Ashley.

Y&R spoilers also tease that fans should be on the lookout for Dr. Anderson continuing with her revenge plan, but this time, she will try to talk to Sage. Victor will also come up with an unexpected ally in the upcoming episodes.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Monday to Friday on CBS.
