Adam Levine's The Voice Champ, Jordan Smith, Just Got Engaged!

‘Ringing in the New Year’ has a new meaning for The Voice champ, Jordan Smith. He’s now engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Kristen Denny.

Smith posted on Twitter and on Instagram last Friday about the great news about his future wife, saying, “RINGING in the new year with my future wife! She said YES! #Mr&MrsSmith,” which may be a play from the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie movie, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith."

The picture was taken at the Boston Public Garden in which the couple was beyond happy and where Denny was showing her new accessory. Denny also posted a close up shot of the stunning ring to her Instagram account saying, “Wow! Yesterday was absolute perfection! Thanks for all the well wishes and sweet messages! I am so incredibly blessed and I can't wait to marry my best friend,” followed by emojis of a ring, a heart, and a girl wearing a veil. Congratulations are in order for the newly engaged couple.

The year 2015 ended on literally a higher note for Smith after winning Season 9 of The Voice. Smith has become a crowd favorite after his inspiring blind audition when he sang Sia’s hit song, “Chandelier." Smith joined Team Adam Levine and eventually won in the singing competition. The trophy returned to Levine after his last win back in Season 5 with Tessanne Chin.

Hollywood Life reported that according to a press conference, Levine teased his long-time rival, Blake Shelton, about his recent win, saying, “It feels so good [to beat Blake]. I’m going to enjoy this night. On a completely selfish level, Jordan, I just want you to know. It’s really quite beautiful because Jordan gets to win The Voice and I get to tear Blake apart for the next six months, bragging about my win and his drought of victory. It’s going to be great. I’m going to think of new and exciting ways to make him feel terrible. It’s going to be really fun, guys.”
