Apparently what happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas! Chris Brown is in trouble after he was accused on Saturday, January 2, of punching a woman in the face who looks like Kim Kardashian, a report from the Financial Express said.
Las Vegas police are now investigating the "Loyal" singer who denies even touching the woman.
On the other hand, the Kim Kardashian look-alike said that the R&B singer jabbed her in the right eye after a party that happened in his hotel suite at the Palms Casino Resort. Brown was in Las Vegas for a New Year's show scheduled in a different venue.
The woman also said that Brown took her cellphone after she tried to take a photo of the singer.
Las Vegas Police has released a report regarding the incident, "A crime report has been taken for misdemeanor theft and misdemeanor battery listing Mr. Brown as suspect." According to the report, the woman, "appeared to have minor injuries sustained as a result of a battery." The report was posted on USA Today.
Vegas police also said that the woman, which was not identified in the report, "was escorted off the property by hotel security due to the disturbance in the hallway." The woman, "returned to the hotel where she reported the incident to hotel security. Detectives attempted to contact Mr. Brown in the hotel room however they were not permitted entry and it was later determined that he already left the location prior to officers' arrival."
Brown remained unreachable until late Saturday when he posted a message on his Instagram account, chrisbrownofficial. The message said, "Keeping my circle small in 2016! I'm done taking the care of grown ... men. And I'm going to be hella rich after all the lawsuits I file from these crazy individuals who keep lying on my name. Happy NEW YEAR! Time for some of us to grow ... up!"
The "Don't Judge Me" singer issued a statement through his publicist, Nicole Perna saying that the woman's allegations were "unequivocally untrue."
Perna said the woman "was escorted out of the private after-party at the Palms Casino Resort for being disruptive and out of control." She added, "Once she was in the hallway, while waiting for Chris Brown's security, to bring out her phone, she had a total meltdown -- throwing her purse on the ground and claiming that she 'could buy everyone in the hotel' -- as witnessed by numerous people waiting to get into the party. The Palms Casino Resort also saw her wild behavior via hotel security cameras and immediately came into the hallway to escort her out of the hotel."
Perna finally said, "Her claim that she had her phone in her possession inside the after-party and was able to take a photo causing an altercation with Chris Brown is a complete fabrication."
Chris Brown is no stranger to run-ins with the law. In 2009, he pleaded guilty to felony assault involving his then girlfriend Rihanna. He served five years' probation for this case. The singer was also charged with misdemeanor in Washington, D.C. for hitting a man who tried to be a part of a photo that he was taking.
