Being a huge celebrity comes with a lot of glitz and glamour, but it also comes with paparazzi and the worst of them all, stalkers.
Singer, songwriter, and model Lana Del Rey just had enough with the Russian fans that have been stalking her for some time now.
TMZ first reported that the “Video Games” singer had just filed a set of restraining orders against two Russian fans Nataliia Krinitsyna and Iuliia Vladimirovna Pozdina. Del Rey’s claims say that the two have been hunting her down when she moved homes to get away from the public eye. She also claims that she also receives letters in her mailbox that contains threats and suicidal attempts from the two fans.
The fans also were known to be sleeping and camping out Del Rey’s house and screaming her name in the middle of the night. Del Rey seemed to be scared that the stalkers might kill her, so she hired a personal bodyguard and off duty LA cops as her protection.
The judge granted the restraining order in place so the girls should stay away from the singer and her home for 100 yards.
According to Cosmopolitan, another fan broke in her newly purchased Malibu home last month. The fan, aged 19, was said to be “infatuated” with the singer and said that he has a “spiritual connection” with Del Rey. He is said to have been camping outside her house and allegedly stole a book from her but have been arrested after a construction worker found him at the garage area of the house.
Del Rey rose to fame back in 2011 after releasing her song “Video Games." The singer has been tagged as “Hollywood sadcore” after releasing music that is known to be melancholic and movie-like. She has released four albums and just concluded her first official tour called “The Endless Summer Tour” along with Courtney Love and Grimes.
